Tri-County (Seminole, Orange & Osceola) Pre-Service Training
Thank you for your interest in becoming a foster or adoptive parent and in making a commitment to our children in foster care. A 30 hour training and preparation class is required to become a licensed foster or adoptive parent. Please note:
You must be pre-screened and assigned to a scheduled class session prior to attending by calling 1-866-90-CHILD or 1-866-902-4453. Walk-ins are not allowed at any of the scheduled orientations.
Orientation and all classes are mandatory. To sign up for a session you must be able to attend the orientation offered and classes 1 and 2. If you are not able to attend these three classes then we ask that you sign up for another session. You can miss up to two classes that must be made up. If you miss more than two classes you must re-take all the classes during another session.
